OMG this makes how many days with out my Friendly Fire Fix..... truly I am addicted. The signs are all there, the shaking, cravings, and pacing back and forth. The needing to hear Catfight, and of course how can I live with out Dick? I have been Dickless for days..... my life is in the toilet. I can think of nothing else. All in favor of Case and Mac moving to the closest Starbucks and doing a broadcast from there raise your hands! woot woot
Well perhaps you need to give it a proper burial, with an Irish Wake... Write a song, dedicate it to the hosed DSL modem, dig a hole and bury the sucker!! I'd send flowers even.
WOW Tycho-- I never knew that! I thought you always buried dead items. hummpf--- Iso is thinking swiftly, should I go home and dig up all those modems and cd/vcr things and ship them out to Tycho, and if I do, do I need to clean off all the worms and dirt?
Sir T is correct, never throw out old electronics or old magazines, because You Might Need That Someday. Like say for example, my old 2MB ATI video card. Or this 56k external US Robotics modem. Anyone need a dot matrix printer? I've also got some nice BBS software on 5.25" floppy disks, jsut lemme know...

We sit around the DSL modem, poking it with a stick, wondering if we dreamed the whole thing...

Bury it? Silly girl, when a piece of electronics breaks you store it in the closet in case you needs it for parts for some future project!
